Indian Paper 2005, an international trade fair and technical conference on paper industry, is scheduled at Codissia Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore, from September 1 - 4, 2005. The fair is organised by Sai Expocon in association with the Indian Paper Industry and cosponsored by Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute, Kraft Paper Manufacturers of South India and Kumarappa National Handmade Paper institute.
Indian Paper 2005 hopes to address these issues faced by the Indian Paper Industry by bringing together Paper machinery manufacturers, materials and service providers, newsprint equipment & machinery manufacturers, technology providers, paper, board and corrugated box manufacturers and packaging specialists and will also showcase the latest developments and technology.

Coinciding with the trade fair, a technical conference on cleaner production in pulp and paper industry will be conducted. The conference will also focus on environment friendly processes and raw materials to ensure a cleaner production in the manufacturing of pulp and paper.

There would also be a special session on use of biotechnology for pulp and paper making to make the industry environment friendly. Technical specialists from the global paper industry will get an opportunity to share their experience and knowledge at the technical seminar.
