XEROX LAUNCHES 24-HOURS `ASK ZEROX`SERVICE

Its nationwide infoline service is available in 5 languages

Xerox Modicorp Ltd., a prominent name in document management industry has launched its help-desk ‘Ask Xerox’ to further improve its customer services across the country. The ‘Ask Xerox’ inbound call-centre, operating round the clock provides a single phone number access across the country. Xerox has tied up with telecom integrator Spanco Telesystems for managing this facility.

In a statement the company said that the centre would provide international standard for handling calls by introducing systems such as IVR that will reduce the lead-time. At present the company is offering this service in five languages namely Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. According to Githanjali Puri, DGM, all calls to the centre would be charged at local-call rates.
