Last year witnessed remarkable shift by digital printers
away from inks specified by their machine supplier to
Color+, a new range from Sericol, the company says.
Signalling its plan to be a more complete supplier to the
digital sector, the company launched the Color+ range at
Drupa 2004. It is a solvent-based, piezo drop-on-demand
ink for roll-fed wide and super-wide
format digital printers. Within such
a short time, Color+ has become
fastest growing ink product used in
solvent-based inkjet machines.
Sericol is the world’s leading
maker of screen printing inks. Selling in more than eighty
countries around the world, the company has built over the
last 50 years an enviable reputation for technical skill and
innovation. Some ten years ago the company took a strategic
decision to repeat its approach in the digital print sector.
The Color+ range has different formulations for the
variety of makes of wide and super-wide format machines.
Thanks to the expert service, each machine is individually
converted to get the best out of it.
Sericol reduces any perceived risk involved by offering
a guarantee that is unique. The company also rejects the
cost-saving one-size-fits-all approach, preferring to tailor the range to each machine type to get the best performance
it is capable of delivering. |
