OBITUARY-A
 

Mr B. B. Kulkarni, founder of M/s. Rajendra Printing Press, Belgaum, died of heart ailment on June 7, 2005. He was 79.
An active man throughout his life, this former Principal of Maratha Mandal High School, Belgaum, was an avid fan of screen printing, an industry for which he devoted full-time after retirement.

During his service, where he perfected his role as a teacher and guide, he also started the printing press in 1972. It was another expression of his love for books and letters.

He used to print Maths and Science books for government schools. Besides, he also composed and printed guides for students.

After retirement, he learnt the art of Screen Printing from Bhau Serigraphic Technology, Belgaum. In 1998 wrote a book in called ‘Vyavasayikansathi Sulabh Screen Printing’. (Screen printing for professionals), in Marathi, which is published by Aditya Exposition. The easy to understand book is still referred by screen printers. May his soul rest in peace.
