The first monthly meeting was an important milestone for screen printing industry, as the old committee of Screen Printing Association of India handed over the charge to the newly formed Screen Printers Association of India. The outgoing president Mr. G.B. Parekh thanked all committee members for cooperation extended in smooth running of the association from last 13 years and confirmed his active support and guidance to further strength the activities of the new association.

The committee members discussed the various activities to be carried out by the association for development and advancement of screen printing industry in India.

The attendees also discussed the steps and activites to be carried out increase the awareness about screen printing, and its applications in general public and measures to be adopted to get more active members for the association as that would easily help the industry to progress further and about more active support from the up-country.
